Uncle Lorenzo is Ray Vecchio's old uncle, a man with a vast knowledge of the Italian Mafia's inner workings. Living in a Chicago hospice, he complains about frequent visits from people who want to ask him questions. He is somewhat paranoid and fears his answers to such questions will get him killed.
Ray Vecchio paid a visit to his uncle Lorenzo in the spring of 1996 to ask him about a vault built in the St. Fortunata school basement containing valuable articles that had once belonged to Al Capone, Eliot Ness and Frank Nitti.
Uncle Lorenzo was portrayed by the late Canadian actor Rummy Bishop.
