Caroline Fraser (née Pinsent) was Robert Fraser's wife and Benton Fraser's mother. She was assassinated by a weapon smuggler named Holloway Muldoon in 1968, when her son was six years old. Benton Fraser was later sent to live with his grandparents since his father could not raise him on his own. He would only find out how his mother died in 1999.
Robert Fraser and his friend Buck Frobisher were both in love with Caroline Pinsent and had a shooting match to determine who would be allowed to court her.
Caroline Fraser was portrayed by Canadian actress Martha Burns.
